My name is Matthew Paul Gonzalez. I am a doctoral student in the translational science program at the University of Texas at San Antonio under the mentorship of Dr. Sandor Dorgo. My research interests are in examining the longitudinal changes in athletic performance as well as examining the role inter-limb asymmetries play in athletic performance. I will be starting the last year of my doctoral program in the fall semester and will be seeking to pursue a career in academia as a researcher in the field of strength and conditioning and as an active member of the NSCA.
