Dr. Randy Bonnette Ph.D. is a full professor and Undergraduate Programs Coordinator in the Department of Kinesiology at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). Dr. Bonnette is a Louisiana native and received his bachelors and masters degree from Northwestern State University. He was high school football coach and English teacher in Louisiana for twelve years prior to receiving his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University – College Station.. In 2000 he was hired by TAMUCC as the chair and served until 2014. He is now the Undergraduate Program Director and teaching full time in both the graduate and undergraduate programs.
Dr. Bonnette provides leadership to and a member of national, regional/state associations (e.g. NSCA, SHAPE America, and Texas Alliance of Health Physical Education, Recreation and Dance), has multiple national/regional/state presentations at these association’s conferences and published in several national periodicals. Dr. Bonnette’s main research interest is sport performance.
