Paul T Donahue, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology and Nutrition at the Univerisity of Southern Mississippi. He currently holds both the CSCS and RSCC credentials. Prior to his work in academia, Dr. Donahue was a strength and conditioning coach in professional baseball, working for the Minnesota Twins and St Louis Cardinals organizations between 2010 and 2015. Additionally, Dr. Donahue was a stregnth and conditioning coach at the University of Mississippi and Louisana Tech University working primarily with football and baseball at both institutions. Dr. Donahue completed his PhD in 2019, from the University of Mississippi in Kinesiology. His graduate work was focused on biomechanics with a focus on performance testing and athlete monitoring in collegiate football athletes as well as translation of training to the competitive environment. His current research interest still centers on performance testing and athlete monitioring in collegiate athletes with a focus on female athletes.
