Dr. Dan Hollander, EdD, CSCS*d, Professor at Southeastern Louisiana University, in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies, has taught and researched for over 20 years. Also serving as an adjunct instructor of Tulane University, School of Professional Advancement, Department of Kinesiology. He earned his doctorate of education in Sport and Exercise Psychology with a minor in Counseling from West Virginia University. Dr. Hollander has published several peer-reviewed articles. As a scholar, he serves as a reviewer for over 20 different scholarly Journals and is a senior associate editor for the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. His vocational work has included: youth director, personal trainer, strength coach, sport psychology consultant, fitness director, and mental health technician. Currently, his interests and research have been focused on pain and RPE during resistance exercise, firefighters, and coaching.
