Graduate Student
University of South Florida
My name is Jacob Broeckel and I am an undergraduate student involved in research from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. In May 2020 I graduated with a degree in exercise science from UW-L. This Fall I will be starting the Masters of Exercise Science program at the University of South Florida and will be a member of the research team in the Performance and Physique Enhancement Laboratory.
Although my affilition at the time of this presentation is UW-L, the research I am showcasing is from Oklahoma State University where I conducted an internship. I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to complete internships at both OSU and the Jayhawk Athletic Performance Laboratory at the University of Kansas. My experiance in research has been broad thus far including everything from biomechanics to EMG. Future research endeavors look to focus on body composition, human metabolism and performance nutrition studies.
