Patrick Peterson, MA, CSCS is a doctoral student in the Rehabilitation Science program within the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to enrolling in the doctoral program, Peterson worked as a research associate under Dr. Jonathan Oliver at Army West Point Athletics Association. There, he aided the Sport Performance Department in the athletic development of cadet-athletes and monitoring of training loads. In addition, Peterson has served in similar roles at the University of Minnesota, University of Denver, and University of Massachusetts Amherst. Peterson received his master's degree in sport coaching from the University of Denver and bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Peterson's research interests include isometric strength testing, body composition and biomechanical performance assessments in athletic and tactical populations. Peterson also holds a dual appointment as the Sport Scientist for the University of Pittsburgh Panthers football team.
