Brian Guthrie, PhD(c), CSCS is a PhD candidate studying Interdisciplinary Studies at George Mason University. With his master’s degree in strength and conditioning and experience working with athletes of all ages, he was previously serving as the student lab coordinator for the Patriot Performance Lab and part-time strength and conditioning coach for Mason Athletics. His research interests include load monitoring and neuromuscular performance aiming to assess and monitor neuromuscular status as it relates to fatigue management in collegiate athletes. Professionally, he strives to translate and communicate data to provide evidence-based training programs to coaches and athletes. Outside of the lab and weight room, he enjoys biking, attending live music events, and spending time with those closest to him.
