Jeremy Ross is an Assistant Research Professor with the University of Kentucky's Sports Medicine Research Institute, based remotely at Camp Lejeune. A 5-year veteran of the United States Army, Jeremy served in the 82nd Airborne Division for two combat tours in Afghanistan where he gained an interest in occupation-specific military fitness and injury prevention. Jeremy attended the University of Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Education and a master's in Sport Science and Nutrition. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Performance and Sport Scientist (CPSS). His current research with the United States Marine Corps investigates the effectiveness of training programs with an emphasis on early predictors of musculoskeletal injury and gender integration.
