Doctoral Student
Oklahoma State University
My name is Allen Redinger and I am a second year Health and Human Performance PhD student in the MAAX Lab at Oklahoma State University, and I currently hold my CSCS through the NSCA. I was a collegiate baseball player at Otterbein University prior to receiving my Masters Degree from Ohio University in physiology of exercise with a concentration in biomechanics. Before attending Oklahoma State, I served as a strength and conditioning coach as an intern and professionally for seven years, primarily working with youth, high school, collegiate, and tactical athletes. My current and future research endevors are to determine the synergy of the skeletal, neuromuscular, and musculotendinous systems regarding performance adaptation and injury prevention in athletes and tactical personnel. Serving the strength and conditioning community from a practical hands-on perspective for years has shaped my academic and research career immensly and I thank the NSCA for that.
