Dr. Marco Duca is assistant professor-strength and conditioning specialist in the Department of Sport, Exercise, Recreation, and Kinesiology at East Tennessee State University.
He also serves as Director of Athletic Performance for the Center of Excellence for Sport Science and Coaching Education at East Tennessee State University.
His research focuses on training methodology, exploring the effects of training periodization and exercise selection on athletic and sport performance.
He earned his PhD in Integrative Biomedical Research from the University of Milan (Italy) with a disseration on the effects of resistance training on selection and performance in Junior Rugby players.
A certified strength & conditioning specialist, he worked as assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Italian National Junior Rugby Team and then as Sport Performance Data Analyst for Hellas Verona F.C.
