Nathan Dicks, Ph.D., CSCS *D, TSAC-F *D, is an Assistant Professor at North Dakota State University. He received a Ph.D. in Exercise Science and Nutrition from North Dakota State University. He holds the CSCS and the TSAC-F certifications with distinction (*D) from the NSCA. His background in military law enforcement while serving in the US Army for the past 24 years. He is a Lieutenant Colonel in the North Dakota Army National Guard. He is interested in the effects of load carriage on aerobic job-specific tasks (e.g., foot pursuits, tactical movements on the battlefield, Wildland pack test) and training countermeasures in tactical professionals. His primary research interests in law enforcement are human movement, physical activity patterns, performance analysis, and officer training implications.
