Jason C. Casey, Ph.D., CSCS*D, EP-C is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at the University of North Georgia. He completed his Ph.D. in Human Performance at The University of Alabama in 2016. He has over 10 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer. In addition to the general population, he has primarily worked with professional, collegiate, strength based, and high intensity sport athletes. Dr. Casey’s research interests include: identification of mediating factors governing fatigue and recovery, investigation of modalities to enhance performance and recovery, investigation of high intensity functional training, and monitoring athletes.
