Tomas Jason Ruvalcaba, CSCS/TSAC-F, is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton. He received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (emphasis: strength and conditioning) from California State University, Fullerton. Tomas is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator, with three years of experience in strength and conditioning and personal training. He has three years of tactical research experience, evaluating health and fitness characteristics with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and assisting in a summer strength and conditioning program conducted with Reserve Officer’s Training Corp cadets. Tomas is currently conducting research in health, wellness, fitness, body composition, hydration, and nutrition, with the Los Angeles County Fire Department and Santa Ana College Fire Technology Department. In addition to his tactical research, Tomas volunteers for the after-school program REACH (reflective-educational-approach-to-character-and-health), mentoring under-served youth in the Fullerton community through education and sports.
