Dr. Quincy Johnson begins his 1st year at the University of Kansas as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health, Sport, and Exercise Sciences.
From 2015 to current, Johnson has worked with athletes of all ages and abilities. He has worked within high school, college, professional (MLB, MLS, MMA, NBA, NFL), and Olympic-level (USMNT) sports performance settings. His performance system consists of enhancing athletic readiness, potential, and performance through movement, strength, power, and speed development.
Johnson holds certifications for NSCA-CSCS*D (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with Distinction), NSCA-CPT*D (Certified Personal Trainer with Distinction), USAW-1, FMS-1, ISPAS-2 (International Society of Performance Analysis of Sport).
In addition to his work as a professor, Johnson also serves as Vice Chair for the NSCA's powerlifting SIG, on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Strength and Conditioning, and aas Co-Founder of Oklahoma State University's Golf Research Innovation and Performance Center.
