Health Promotion Coordinator

Guy Leahy is currently serving as the Health Promotion Program Coordinator at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. Leahy is a member of the ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association), and is CSCS® certified. Leahy is the author/co-author of over 40 articles/papers, including original research which has appeared in publications such as The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, Tactical Strength and Conditioning (TSAC) Report, Aerospace Medicine and Human Performance, Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, Nature, Science and Scientific American. He has presented at many conferences, most recently at the 2022 TSAC Annual Training. In addition, Leahy reviews manuscripts for several journals, including The Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research and Military Medicine. Leahy holds a Master of Education degree from Western Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon.
