Mr. Patrick L Beaumont; University of the Sunshine Coast

Pat is a graduate of the Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science at the Australian Catholic University. He has since completed a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Exercise Rehabilitation and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Science (honors) at the University of the Sunshine Coast.

Pat has a particular interest in health science research and is currently working towards gaining a deeper understanding of para-powerlifting, the challenges it entails, and how its athletes overcome them. He is also working part-time as the Research Coordinator for senior spine surgeon A/Prof Paul Licina at SpinePlus and the BackSpace clinics. There, he works as a part of a multidisciplinary practice and is involved in projects aimed at improving patient outcomes and widening the scope of patient care.
