Jonathan Beausejour, MS, CSCS, is a Ph.D. student and graduate research assistant in the Neuromuscular Plasticity Lab at the University of Central Florida. After obtaining his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science from Life University in Atlanta Georgia, he completed his master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Biomechanics at Auburn University. Beausejour previously worked as a personal trainer in the Auburn, AL area, and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. As a research coordinator in Matt Stock’s Neuromuscular Plasticity Laboratory, Jonathan’s research interests include investigating neuromuscular characteristics/adaptations in special populations, as well as neuronal mechanisms that contribute to muscle strength and performance outcomes. In his spare time, he enjoys strength training, and hopes to contribute to the strength/conditioning and sport rehabilitation fields.
