Heather Day, B.S., PTA, is a graduate student in Exercise Science at the University of South Alabama. She was a collegiate athlete in women's basketball and cross country at the University of Alabama in Huntsville where she was the 1994 Gulf South Conference Champion in cross country. Following her athletic career, she worked at NASA in Huntsville, AL as an Exercise Specialist and SPIN instructor. She then transitioned into healthcare as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Outpatient and Acute care, which she still continues work at a local hospital in Mobile, AL. She is currently assisting with various research projects at the University of South Alabama and plans to continue working with other students in the future as an educator.
