Andrew Fry, Ph.D., CSCS*D, FNSCA*E is a professor of exercise physiology at the University of Kansas. His areas of research focus include sport performance, resistance exercise physiology, skeletal muscle cellular and molecular responses and adaptations, and endocrine and receptor physiology. He is the Director of the Jayhawk Athletic Performance Laboratory, which is an Innovation Hub in the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance. This group of collaborators is focused on the study of elite athletic performance, and the journey to achieve human potential. In 2018, Andy received the NSCA’s Boyd Epley Lifetime Achievement Award, and is a past recipient of the Outstanding Sport Scientist Award. Andy is married to Dr. Mary Fry, a sport psychologist, and has two children, Jared (25) and Lindsey (23).
